Sunday School

Picture
Sunday School Classes for all ages are held from mid-September to mid-May between worship services during the Education Hour from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
There is NO Sunday School on April 12 on Easter Sunday.
*nursery care is still provided*
Nursery
Nursery care is available for children under age three during Sunday worship services and the Education Hour. The nursery is staffed by an adult supervisor and high school attendant. There is a changing table and bathroom located inside the nursery as well.
Birth - 2 Years Children are welcome anytime in the nursery during worship or the education hour, to experience God’s love through song, play, and care. The nursery includes a changing table and is staffed by our Nursery Care Co-Provider and a high school attendant.

Preschool students are invited to come and meet God while playing, singing, and learning through the Frolic curriculum by  SparkHouse. Children are introduced to stories from the Old and New Testament through the best way they know possible– through play!

Kindergarten -5th  Grade rotate through workshop stations guided by their shepherd. This year’s theme will focus on, “Living in Faith.” Children will rotate through a different workshop station with your Sunday School shepherd this year as we connect our faith to our neighbors in Guatemala, experience different Bible Stories in the Old and New Testament, and engage our hands with the life and work of the Church.

6th - 7th Grade  students connect with your peers, dive into the Bible, and strengthen your relationship with God. Over two years, students will use the Here We Stand curriculum to learn more about the Old and New Testament. 2019-2020, this class will      focus on the New Testament.

8th - 9th Grades: join the pastors for Confirmation—a journey of self-discovery, deepening faith, and building authentic relationships with other youth and trusted adults in the congregation.  Over two years, students will learn and prepare for their Affirmation of Baptism in the fall of 10th Grade, when you proclaim, “Yes!” to your baptism.  Read more...

10th - 12th Grades: gather for friendship and focused discussion about their lives, current events and social justice issues. Using social media, TV shows, movies, music, and current events students question, discern and dig into theological themes and spirituality. The first Sunday of the month we make pancakes together in the kitchen!  Read more...
