St. Michael's Summer Patio Series
Join the St. Michael's women for the Summer Patio Series, a time for small group connection and conversation! For five sessions this summer, small groups will read I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown.
Small groups will meet 6 times over the course of the summer on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evenings, in-person outdoors or online. The small group sign up and discussion guides for each meeting will be listed below.
Unlike previous Summer Patio Series, there will not be a kick off party at the start of the series, but we hope to offer this opportunity in future years!
How to join a small group:
- Use the SignUpGenius link to sign up for a small group. Small group sizes are intentionally small so that meaningful conversation is possible. If there is no space in the group you desire to be a part of, contact Pastor Ali to learn about other options.
- For online groups: Pastor Ali will reach out to small group members to see who would like to manage the Zoom call. She will send out instructions on how access the virtual small group, either through Zoom
- Commit to your small group throughout the summer. Book reading is only part of the goal for this patio series - relationship building is the core of small groups, so prioritizing your group's meeting throughout the summer is essential!
