St. Michael's Summer Patio Series
Join the St. Michael's women for the Summer Patio Series, a time for small group connection and conversation! For five sessions this summer, small groups will read Native by Kaitlin Curtice.
"Native is about identity, soul-searching, and being on the never-ending journey of finding ourselves and finding God. As both a member of the Potawatomi Nation and a Christian, Kaitlin Curtice offers a unique perspective on these topics. In this book, she shows how reconnecting with her Native American roots both informs and challenges her Christian faith." Small groups will meet 5 times over the course of the summer on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evenings, in-person or online. The small group sign up and discussion guides for each meeting will be listed below. A kick-off party will be held on June 5th at 6:00 p.m. at Jone Tiffany's home in Blaine. Please contact the church office for the address. |
How to join a small group:
- Use the SignUpGenius link to sign up for a small group or join a group at the kick off party. Small group sizes are intentionally small so that meaningful conversation is possible.
- For online groups: Information will be given to each group on how to access the church Zoom account.
- Commit to your small group throughout the summer. Book reading is only part of the goal for this patio series - relationship building is the core of small groups, so prioritizing your group's meeting throughout the summer is essential!
