2024 Summer Patio Series
Becoming Wise An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living by Krista Tippett |
Join the St. Michael's women for the Summer Patio Series, a time for small group connection and conversation! For five sessions this summer, small groups will gather to discuss Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living by Krista Tippett.
In Becoming Wise, Krista Tippett, Peabody Award-winning broadcaster and New York Times bestselling author, explores what she's learned from a career discussing faith, science and spirituality. "This book is for people who want to take up the great questions of our time with imagination and courage, to nurture new realities in the spaces we inhabit, and to do so expectantly and with joy." (Tippett) Small groups will meet 5 times over the course of the summer on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evenings. The small group sign up and discussion guides for each meeting will be listed below. A kick-off party will be held on June 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Sue Thompson's home in Shoreview. Please contact the church office for the address. |
How to join a small group:
- Use the sign up links below or wait to join a group at the kick off party. Small group sizes are intentionally sized so that meaningful conversation is possible.
- Commit to your small group throughout the summer. Book reading is only part of the goal for this patio series - relationship building is the core of small groups, so prioritizing your group's meeting throughout the summer is essential!
