Reconciling in Christ
LGBTQIA+ Welcoming and Affirming
Knowing how lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons and their families have in many places felt exclusion (the Church included), we are committed in our welcome and affirmation, as well as our ongoing learning and awareness of theological and social issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community.

About the Reconciling In Christ Program
Since 1974, ReconcilingWorks: Lutherans for Full Participation has advocated for the full welcome, inclusion, and equity of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Lutherans in all aspects of the life of their Church, congregations, and community. The Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Program is for congregations, synods, colleges, seminaries, and other Lutheran organizations and ministry communities who have made a public commitment to welcome, include and celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) people.
