St. Michael’s is a companion church to Iglesia Luterana Agustina La Santa Cruz de la Esperanza (Holy Cross of Hope Lutheran Church) in Cimiento, Guatemala. We have been blessed by this partnership since 2009, and give thanks for the Lutheran Church in Guatemala: Iglesia Luterana Agustina de Guatemala (ILAG).
In spite of the miles between our two churches, we are connected through prayer, frequent updates, trips to the village, and financial support. We are excited to have a delegation of 12 people traveling to Guatemala in October of 2024 as part of our on-going partnership! |

Upcoming TripsA group will be traveling to Guatemala this October!
Some participants will be staying in Guatemala City to spend time with the young women of MILAGRO School, worship at Santísima Trinidad, spend an afternoon at the Mayan Art Museum, and participate in activities with the children at the CLAG Elementary school The other part of our group will be traveling to Cimiento to worship at Santa Cruz de la Esperanza in Cimiento, build church pews & various other activities. |
