About Worship - What to Expect
Worship at St. Michael's is designed to proclaim God's word of grace, forgiveness, and hope in a way that shapes our lives. Our 8:45 a.m. service is led by grand piano and our 11 a.m. service is accompanied by pipe organ. Musical choirs rotate leading worship at both services. The sanctuary is an accessible space with an altar ramp, hearing-assist devices, and large-print bulletins. Holy Communion Mindful of Jesus' words of invitation to "let the children come to me", we welcome and encourage children of all ages to be part of worship and receive Holy Communion. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month and Festival Sundays. Gluten-free wafers and non-alcoholic wine are available. Children in Worship We believe that children are not the future of the church, they are the church. Their presence and participation is deeply valued at St. Michael’s. We call the cries, giggles, and wiggles of children a “Holy Hum” that we appreciate in worship! Below are some ways to honor the “Holy Hum” of your child:
