Sunday School
Classes for all ages are held between worship services from 10:00 a.m.- 10:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
Nursery care is available for young children during the education hour. Birth - 3 Years: God’s Play Group
Using the Frolic curriculum, God’s Playgroup strengthens parent-child relationships, supports faith formation and builds community among parents. 3 & 4 year olds are invited to come and meet God while playing, singing, and enjoying the company of others! Through the Spark: Activate Faith curriculum they will relate with Bible characters and see themselves in the Bible story! K - 3rd Grade : PowerXpress & Maker Space Workshop Rotation: Through PowerXpress Rotational learning , students will experience Bible stories in the ways they learn best! Each Sunday they will rotate through self guided stations that are shepherd supports. Rotational learning builds on the advantages of repetition. The more different ways children explore a story or concept, the more it is reinforced in their memories! Maker Spaces : Each Sunday when children enter the fellowship hall they will be greeted by maker spaces. Around these spaces children come up with a community based problem, come up with a solution and share their experience with the community! 4th and 5th Grades It’s not little kid Sunday school! Through the Connect curriculum Bibles, videos, and learner sheets are designed just for tweens, blending solid theology with quirky humor! 6th and 7th Grades Here We Stand : Old Testament and New Testament will be our 6th & 7th graders as they dive into the scripture in order to build their relationship with God and each other more profoundly. Youth in Grade 6 will read about their ancestors of faith in the Old Testament while the youth in Grade 7 will read about those in the New Testament. 8th - 9th Grades: Sunday Morning Confirmation 10th - 12th Grades: Senior High Sunday Mornings For more information about St. Michael's Sunday School program, contact our Associate Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries: Marta Goldenman
