Stewardship

One of our foundational values at St. Michael’s is the value of stewardship, understanding that stewardship is not simply the money you give, but the way you view and live life. We share our time, talent, and resources; not out of fear but out of gratitude and joy for all that God has given to us.

The St. Michael's Stewardship committee meets throughout the year in an effort to produce written stewardship campaign materials that reflect the ongoing ministries of St. Michael's. Stewardship materials are available in the fall of each year. 2017 Stewardship Materials are available here.

You can give of your resources in these easy ways:

Electronic Giving

Electronic Giving is easy! There are two ways to give electronically:
1) Download the Enrollment and Authorization Form (Link) for Simply Giving, allowing recurring donations to be taken out of your checking or savings account
2) Set up a bank bill-pay through your bank to make one-time or recurring donations.

Offering Envelopes

Weekly offering envelopes are a great way to combine your giving with attendance at worship services. Simply place your gifts in the offering plate, and your personalized envelope number will assure that your contributions are properly credited. Offering envelopes can also be mailed if you can't attend a service. If you need offering envelopes please call the church office at 651-631-1510 or email us.

Stocks and Securities

Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities can be an excellent way to share God's gifts. To ensure that we can acknowledge your gift for income tax purposes, please notify us in advance of the transmittal. Call the church office at 651-631-1510 or email us.
There are two ways to transfer stock or securities:

Electronic Transfer Authorization: Your broker can electronically transfer your securities to St. Michael's. You can download the Stock Transfer Form and follow the instructions on it when you make your gift.

Physical Delivery: If you have stock certificates, you may deliver them in person, by registered mail, or by courier to St. Michael's office. If they are registered in your name, you will need to provide an Irrevocable Stock/Bond Power Form. For more information, email [email protected] or call 651-631-1510.
