Explore what it means for the church to go public...
deepening our faith, and broadening our witness in the world.
Theologians in ResidenceJeremy Myers and Kristina Fruge will be our Theologians in Residence for Wednesday evenings in Lent.
Jeremy and Kristina serve at Augsburg University where Jeremy teaches Religion and is the Executive Director of the Christensen Center for Vocation. Kristina is the Manager of the Riverside Innovation Hub, a project out of Augsburg that helps congregations innovate new connections with young adults and the world around them. Jeremy and Kristina will help us understand what it means for the church to "Go Public" - by reflecting on the intersection of our faith and our public lives.
Collaborating with our Musician in Residence, Rachel Kurtz, they will help us deepen our faith and dream about how we as a community can expand our public witness. |
Musician in ResidenceRachel Kurtz, local singer, songwriter, and storyteller, has been touring and singing for almost 20 years. Her songs are rife with emotion and her voice can cut through the noise and gives the listener a place to rest. Rachel has sung at the last 6 ELCA
national youth gatherings and is a frequent musician at local venues such as Icehouse MSP. Come hear her sing, you will be surprised and delighted, as she moves us through our Lenten Journey. |
