This week, we welcome Rev. Mark Hanson to Online Religion in Life. Rev. Hanson is the founding Director of Interfaith at Augsburg: An Institute to Promote Inter-Religious Leadership, where he leads Augsburg University's work in interfaith leadership as a core commitment to their academic mission. Rev. Mark Hanson served as the ELCA's Presiding Bishop from 2001 - 2013, and was a faith-based advisory council to President Obama. Before being elected as ELCA Presiding Bishop, he served as bishop of the Saint Paul Area Synod. Rev. Mark Hanson is also the former president of the Lutheran World Federation, and author of, "Faithful Yet Changing: The Church in Challenging Times" Today Rev.
