Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

‘I am the good shepherd. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father.’

Again the Jews were divided because of these words. Many of them were saying, ‘He has a demon and is out of his mind. What we know of sheep, is that they need a leader or a shepherd. Otherwise, they won't get their nourishment and they're simply sheep. They're a creature that belongs to each other. They don't need to change or conform or look different from each other. They are meant to work together. But sometimes they forget to do that.

I think, we as humans are just like that.
We forget that we are called to be a community together.
And we are community, when we belong together.
We do that by honoring our gifts and strengths.
We do it by listening to what our neighbor needs.
