st -4th Grades explore the theme: Change Makers! Each Sunday students rotate through workshop stations guided by shepherd volunteer leaders. Rotational learning builds on the advantages of repetition. The more and different ways children explore a story or concept, the more it is reinforced in their memories. Around these spaces children will engage in learning that promotes critical thinking skills. Each month the children will come up with a community based problem around the themes of: Access to clean water, Access to Shelter, Access to Food, Access to Community Resources. The students will then come up with a solution and share their experience with the community! There is a Biblical connection to each highlighted world change-maker (such as Harriet Tubman, Habitat For Humanity, MN Food Share Month)!
th Grade meets with an adult leader to share weekly highs and lows, and explore the Connect curriculum which is designed just for tweens, blending solid theology with quirky humor! In this class, 5th grade students explore major themes in the narrative arc of the Bible from creation to God's new creation.
th - 7th Grades dive into Scripture in order to share in the stories of faith, grow in Biblical literacy, and build their relationship with God and each other more profoundly. This year 6th - 7th grades learn and go deeper in Here We Stand: New Testament.
th - 9th Grades: Sunday Morning Confirmation
th - 12th Grades: Senior High Sunday Mornings
