Completed passports will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to local restaurants such as The Grateful Table and Mudslingers!
Nursery care is available for children under age three during Sunday worship services and the education hour. The nursery is staffed by an adult supervisor and high school attendant. There is a changing table and bathroom located inside the nursery as well.
Sunday School Classes for all ages are held from mid-September to mid-May between worship services during the Education Hour from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
Birth - 2 Years drop-in to play, sing, and shape their first impressions of God's love while parents participate in the Religion in Life adult education class or serve in Sunday School.
3 Years - Kindergarten are invited to come and meet God while playing, singing, and learning through the Deep Blue Kids curriculum. Children explore families in the Bible, learn how today’s faith families care for children as they grow, build loving relationships, and find out what it means to be part of God’s family.
3 Years - Kindergarten will sing the pre-service music on:
November 18 and April 28
1st -5th Grades rotate through workshop stations guided by shepherd volunteer leaders. Rotational learning engages critical thinking skills and builds on the advantages of repetition as children explore the lives of people in the Bible to connect faith to every day life in way that is reinforced in their memories. While 1st-4th grades move stations week to week, 5th grade stays together for discussion around their rotation activities. This year children are on a “Journey of Love” exploring how God’s love causes people in the Old and New Testaments as well as today to live lives of courage, obedience, meaning and faith.
6th - 7th Grades dive into Scripture in order to share in the stories of faith, grow in Biblical literacy, and build their relationship with God and each other more profoundly. Over two years, 6th - 7th grades learn and go deeper in Here We Stand: New Testament and Old Testament. This year students become versed in the Old Testament.
8th - 9th Grades: join the pastors for Confirmation — a journey of self-discovery, deepening faith, and building authentic relationships with other youth and trusted adults in the congregation. Over two years students learn and prepare for the Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation service) in the fall of their sophomore year, when young people claim for themselves the faith in which they were baptized. 10th - 12th Grades: gather for friendship and focused discussion about their lives, current events and social justice issues. Using social media, TV shows, movies, music, and current events students question, discern and dig into theological themes and spirituality. Read more...

NEEDED: Everyone ages 18-99. YOUR feedback is essential regardless of if you have children or any involvement in the program right now. We need to hear from the WHOLE congregation. This asks different questions than the C.A.T. survey a few years ago. The focus of this survey is your perceptions of Children, Youth and Family Ministry.
