Property Committee is forming a Green Team to implement the recommendations of our energy audit and to find other ways to conserve energy. If you are interested in this short-term group, contact Neal Chapman for additional information.
Women's Summer Patio Series
Join us for a summer on the patio with other women from St. Michael’s! We will meet at different homes or patios around the Twin Cities, sipping summer drinks and having conversation around the book, "Bread and Wine:" (each chapter includes a recipe!)
Don't miss this kick-off party for a time of mingling and breaking up into small groups for summer reading! (Small groups will meet 5 times throughout the summer on either
Sundays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays)
The kick-off party will be at Jone Tiffany's home (address available by contacting the church office). Bring a snack to share, and read the introduction to the book before the party. (And bring your swimsuit to take a dip in Jone's pool!)
Invite a friend, all are welcome!
Habitat for Humanity Holy Hammers
The 2018 Holy Hammers project will start April 16 and run through June 29 at 717 Geranium Avenue in St. Paul. We are working with a coalition of 15 area congregations to build an affordable home for a qualifying family.
We are scheduled to serve as site host, providing morning coffee, snacks, and lunch each day from April 16-20. To volunteer for one of these roles, please go to our Sign-Up Genius webpage: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044dafad28aa8-stmichaels4
To volunteer as a construction worker, use the Volunteer Hub site from Habitat for Humanity. Carefully follow the instructions at the top of the landing page, using “St. Michael’s” as the Join Code. http://holyhammers.tchabitat.volunteerhub.com
