2019 Lenten Season - Coming Home to God
"Let this be the season you turn your face toward the One who calls to you: Return, return. Let this be the day you open wide your arms to the wind that knows how to bear you home." –Jan Richardson
In this midst of this turbulent and anxious world, we find a home in our welcoming God who claims us as beloved and calls us to be beacons of hope, grace, and justice. This Lent we will explore stories of coming home to God.
At our Wednesday Holden Evening Prayer services, we are excited to invite special preachers and musical guests to share their own experiences of what coming home to God means to them - through experiences of grief, doubt, struggle, joy, and renewal.
Holden Evening Prayer is at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Soup Supper is at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall for a free-will donation. All proceeds from the meal will go to Keystone Community Services.
