Every month there is an activity planned for the children that is lots of fun and provides an opportunity for them to get better acquainted with each other.

3rd-5th Grade Events

September  28           College Freshman Care Packages

Children will be creating packages filled with goodies for our recent high school graduates, as well as play games and eat lunch.

November   9            Thanksgiving Feast with a Twist

Children will bring a food item beginning with the first letter of his or her last name and keeps it a secret.  The “feast” will be eaten in alphabetical order.

January     11           Buddy to Buddy Afternoon Tea

Children will be baking, decorating, welcoming and serving “senior buddies” to afternoon tea.

February    14-15       Swim & Sleep-over

Children will come for an overnight at St. Michael’s which will include swimming, stories, movies, snacks and SLEEPING!  Sunday morning they get to come to church in their P.J.’s.  How fun is that!

March       29           Children’s Theater Company:  Iqbal
Children will attend the Minneapolis Children’s Theater to see a profound story about a young, hopeful Pakistan Boy’s use of imagination to bring joy to others.
